Prostate Cancer
The prostate is a small, walnut-shaped organ that surrounds the urethra and produces seminal fluid. Prostate cancer is the most common among men -- particularly older men.
Bladder Cancer
Normally, bladder cells grow, perform their function, and die on a predictable schedule. Cancer develops when normal, orderly growth is interfered with in some way, causing cells to reproduce at an abnormally high rate.
Kidney Cancer
Kidney cancer comes in several varieties. The most common form in adults is called renal cell carcinoma, and it forms a tumor directly on the face of the kidney.
Testicular Cancer
Though testicular cancer is relatively rare, it is the most frequent cancer among American males, ages 15 to 34. Fortunately, testicular cancer is usually quite treatable, even when it has spread beyond the immediate area.
Other Cancers
Other urologic cancers include penile, adrenal, urethra and renal pelvis cancer. Any symptoms of these should be discussed with your physician.
